Size Charts

Please note: Shoe size may vary from your actual foot size. For most accurate sizing and optimal fit, choose the insole size that most closely matches your foot size.

Original Orange, EX, and EX+MP

For example: you walk into a shoe store, get your foot measured by the classic metal foot size measuring thingy (A Brannock Device) and it tells that you are a size 9 (Men’s). The nice salesperson brings you the 3 pairs of shoes you want to try on, all size 9, but 3 different brands. One is too big, another too small and one just right. You like the smallest of the 3, but have to size up to a 9.5 shoe in this particular brand to fit your size 9 foot; you buy it. You want to put a Cadence insole in the shoe? Because your foot size is a 9, buy the Cadence Men’s 8-9, Women's 9-10.

Directions for Use

Remove existing insole from shoes and replace with Cadence insoles. If needed, trim around the toe portion of insole for better fit by placing the old footbed on top of your Cadence insole with the heels lined up and trace a line around the toe and trim with scissors. Trim only the toe area and be careful not to trim them too short. Wear for a few hours daily until feet adjust to correction. Then wear full time.

Who can benefit from Cadence insoles?

Anyone who spends time on their feet or participates in sport, from runners, hikers, walkers, and golfers, to busy executives or service personnel can benefit from Cadence insoles. Shoes are the first line of foot comfort and support, and the insole is what your foot contacts and feels. Cadence insoles can provide lasting comfort, support, and improved fit. You don’t need to have a “problem” or pain to benefit from Cadence insoles.

How do I clean my Cadence insoles?

Hand wash using warm water and mild soap and air dry. Do not machine wash, dry or iron.  Other options can be found here.

What kind of shoes can I wear with my Cadence insoles?

Cadence insoles can be worn in a wide variety of shoes including, but not limited to, running shoes, walking shoes, hiking shoes and boots, golf shoes, tennis shoes, basketball shoes, ski boots and medium to high volume casual and dress shoes. If the shoe has an existing insole that is removable then remove it before inserting your Cadence insole. If the factory insole is not removable, loosen the laces (if it has laces) and try putting your Cadence insole on top. Re tie the laces making sure there is room for the toes and your heel does not easily lift out of the shoe when walking.

Can I wear Cadence insoles if the factory insole is not removable?

In many cases yes, but it depends on the individual shoe. You will need to try it on an individual basis to see if it fits properly. Loosen the laces of the shoe, insert your Cadence insoles, put your foot in the shoe and adjust the laces to a comfortable fit. Be sure there is room for the toes and your heel does not easily lift out of the shoe when walking.

Will I feel any changes to my footwear?

Some people do, some don’t. It often depends on the individual shoe and depth of the foot bed. Most factory insoles are easily removed and you want to do that before inserting your Cadence insole. After inserting your new insole, put on your shoe and lace it up. You may not feel anything other than a more cushioned and comfortable fit or you may feel improved support with added comfort.

How long will it take to get used to my Cadence insoles?

It may not take any time to adapt to your insoles or it may take a few days of wear. Everybody is different so there is no hard rule.

Can I add a varus wedge, post, metatarsal pad or other external addition to my Cadence insoles?

Yes! This is a common practice and very effective. Your Cadence insoles can be fine-tuned with wedges, posts, heel lifts and other additions. Most of these devices are self-adhesive and quick and easy to apply to help tailor your Cadence insoles to meet individual needs.

What if I have diabetes or a foot deformity?

If you have diabetes, poor circulation, lack of sensation in your feet, or unusually shaped or deformed feet, consult your health care professional before using our product to ensure appropriate treatment and care.

What kind of conditions can Cadence insoles help with?

Replacement insoles have been shown to be effective in helping alleviate many common conditions associated with repetitive impact activities and excessive pronation including plantar fasciitis, achilles tendonitis, “shin splints”, patellofemoral pain, and iliotibial band friction syndrome among others. If you have pain, consult your health care professional before using our product to ensure appropriate treatment and care.
